Since when is there a limit on how much you can donate to a political entity?

How is it constitutional for the government to step in and tell you how much of your own money you can donate to this or that politician/political movement?

Last time I read the highest law of the land, the very first amendment ensured you have the right to support a political movement as much or as little as you wish too.

That said, given what we now know about the IRS and the Obama admin, I have zero doubt this is a politically motivated witch hunt.

One of the most disturbing statements that Hillary Clinton has ever made is when she told the mother of one of the SEALs that "They" would "Catch him and put him in jail," referencing the hapless filmmaker who produced the hilarious anti-Mohammed film.  And so "They" did.  For a minor parole violation.  Now they are going after a filmmaker who made a film criticizing Obama.  The First Amendment no longer applies. The Democrats are subverting the Constitution by leaps and bounds and the Republicans don't seem to care.   They will care when "They" come for them.

It's amazing.  We are watching a complete re-run in slow-mo, of the Hitler run-up.  Complete with sheeple of the citizenry, the opposition party that couldn't care less, and the supporters who have lost all connection to reality, honesty, and decency.  And a media that just wants to be on the winning side.

It's like watching a movie that you know couldn't happen in real life.....but it is real, and we're living in it.
