5 years in to Obama's presidency and all is NOT well. The economy is on life support and being held up with perpetual QE as Poverty rates rise and more and more people become dependent on the Government. The Democrats have cast aside the pretense of objectivity and have gone into full desperation mode, offering up one ridiculous excuse after another.

The Democrats and their hordes of integrity challenged left wing sycophants have been blaming our current economic condition on Bush, and they're basing it on the mess Obama "inherited".

Now it's true he inherited a mess, but it was first, something that could have been dealt with by a QUALIFIED and Competent leader and second, it was not " Bush' Mess "

Bottom line is the government manipulated sound business decisions to achieve some pie in the sky goals.

Letting people buy houses that really couldn't afford them.  It was inevitably going to fail.  Social welfare manipulation will not ever work in the end.

It was unprecedented redistribution, and it was all built on the premise that lenders were "discriminating" based on the color of peoples skin.

If that were true, that is Banks not loaning solely based on the color of someone's skin, why would they need to lower lending standards to fight it ?

The day Michael Milkin was put in jail for his junk bond fiasco is the day Congress started writing laws to "legally" do the same thing with the mortgage blind-bundling system.  It was destined to crash from day one.
