This happens more often than you'd think...that said, I have long been of the opinion that a single bullet fired across that border at our law enforcement or soldiers is an act of war against the State of Texas and the United States, and we as a nation should respond accordingly. By going to war and wiping out the government and people of the nation responsible.

Which is I know a very, very, unpopular opinion.

One of every five Americans you meet has a mental illness of some sort. Many, many, of our veteran's suffer from mental illness like PTSD now also. Help if ya can. :) http://www.projectsemicolon.org/share-your-story.html
And no you won't find my "story" there. They don't allow science fiction. :)

It may be a very, very, unpopular opinion, but I agree with you 100%.  It would accomplish two things; defend our country AND send a clear message to the other nations that certain 'activities' will NOT be tolerated by the U.S.
"I believe in the United States of America as a government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed..."I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it, to support its Constitution..."

There are reasons why a Roman citizen could walk the breadth of the known world without fear of being accosted by highwaymen.

Harsh, Hawkish, mean, you bet it is.

But when dealing with individuals who have a thuggish, barbaric, mindset the only thing they will ever understand from you, is a bigger stick.

I mean Christ, can you imagine what the world would look like today if Churchill and Roosevelt had said, as Obammy and company do today where our southern border is concerned, "oh well just ignore those crazy nazi's over there in that third world nation called Germany who are trying to invade Britain".

LORD knows, I am tired of this: "Feel sorry for the Third world shit hole policy". You know, the one where we don't role over them and leave a bloody spot because we think that would be "unfair".
"LIBERALS: their willful ignorance is rivaled only by their catastrophic stupidity"!
