Here in Atlanta there are two tales of two tasers.

First one... Two officers were fired for tasering two college students for no complying to their orders after they was caught joyriding after the 9pm curfew.

District Attorney Paul Howard issued arrest warrants for Gardner, Streeter and four other officers. In total, four of them were charged with aggravated assault, a serious felony.

Second one...An Atlanta officer was fired when a suspected drunk driver grabbed the officers taser and tasered him and in return the officer shot the suspected drunk driver and he succumbed to his wounds.

"Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms said in a news conference. "I do not believe that this was a justified use of deadly force."

In the students case the taser was deadly force and in the Wendy's case the taser isn't deadly force. Funny how that works.

Now as far as the court cases are concern who will the courts back the Black cops for using a taser as deadly force or the White cop that killed a man that tasered him.
People sleep peacefully at night because there are a few tough men prepared to do violence on their behalf.

A foolish man complains about his torn pockets.

A wise man uses it to scratch his balls.

I am not a lawyer, however, this looks like a good defense attorney would request a change of venue. I can't see a fair adjudication in Fulton County for the cop.

Good points... will be interesting.  The cops are off the hook in one of the two cases.

Maybe not!

Garrett Rolfe, the Atlanta police officer fired after the killing of Rayshard Brooks last week, now faces 11 charges including felony murder, which could potentially lead to the death penalty, a Georgia district attorney announced Wednesday.

Brooks was shot and killed outside a Wendy's restaurant where he'd apparently fallen asleep in his car in the drive-thru lane. He allegedly failed a field sobriety test -- and ultimately was seen wrestling with the officers and running with one of their Tasers leading up to the shooting.

What will be interesting to see is when all the cops either retire or just quit. What will they do then?

Do then? Appoint all the political hack supporters they can find. It's a blue city. Then the rising crime rate will disappear from the news.
