I would be amazed if he thought he could run. I would say he is probably there pushing for support for his committee and his work in the house. If you can't deliver your own state it makes it very hard for a politician to run! Maybe maneuvering for the #2 spot?  :popcorn: :popcorn:

Possible! It is rather hard. The last time that a home-state loser:

1) Won the national popular vote: Al Gore, 2000
2) Won the national popular vote AND the electoral vote: Richard Nixon, 1968

Yeah, I doubt it as well, he is more of a behind the scene pol.
