They are floating a possible Rice VP slot, now I like Rice, but do we really want to give the left an opportunity to paint this as a Bush 3rd term?

It would Political Suicide at this time. Conservatives only have one chance at this, If they get it wrong, there quite possibly may not be another. If Hispanics are given amnesty, the Conservative brand could just fade away.

He really does need to consider the base and quit trying to appease a handful of minorities.
If Mitten was an actual conservative, I'd have no issue with Condi, but having two RINO in the WH just doesn't appeal to the base.

No dice. She's a brilliant woman, and I think a good secratary of state.

But stop and think about it..................no one knows what her political views are. She could very well be a liberal.

They need to stop thinking along the lines of "woman" or "minority", and think "conservative" first.

Actually we do know her political views, and she is a solid RINO in the mold of Bush.
I saw her give a speech at Stanford years ago, and some of the shit she said made me cringe.
She pretty much believes in using OPM to help for whatever lib program is going on.
She believes that if someone wants to further their education, we should all be paying for it, it's for the good of the country.

Yeah, sounds good, but best intentions and all that crap just don't cut it, let them get a damn job scrubbing floors and earn their own way, just like the rest of us.

She was interviewed after her speech and the interviewer asked her about her politics, she really danced around and talked about her upbringing in that it was like the rest of America and it's conservative values, but then went on to talk about charity and how Govt needs to step in where charity leaves off.

There is a reason most never heard about her political side, it was always local TV, never national when she spoke like that.
