Carried on the backs of her betters, though the City Hall elevators have one reserved for whoever is their current mayor.

They'll have to invent a new title. The one name she definitely does not deserve is Hizzoner.

Hillary For Big Apple Mayor? Not So Fast...

Yes, Hillary Clinton received multiple standing ovations while attending a show on Broadway this weekend. So the Big Apple loves her, right? There's no doubt some truth to that, but do they love her enough to give Bill de Blasio the boot and install her as mayor? For some reason this is turning into the absurd rumor that simply won't die. Allahpundit tore into it admirably last week, explaining from a few different angles why the rumor makes no sense and is most likely vaporware.

That was certainly my initial impression. But if we're all correct about it, why was Jake Tapper asking the question of one of Clinton's close confidantes during his Sunday morning show? Particularly since you know that Jake rarely asks a question of the panel that he doesn't already know the answer to and the Clinton insider swatted the rumor down yet again. (CNN)
