The Missouri University Police Department (MUPD) sent an email to students Tuesday morning urging them to call them and report any hurtful speech they encounter on the campus.

In an email that was flagged by several Missouri-based journalists, the MUPD asked "individuals who witness incidents of hateful and/or hurtful speech or actions" to call the department's general phone line "to continue to ensure that the University of Missouri campus remains safe." They suggest that students provide a detailed description of the offender, their location or license plate number, and even to take a picture if possible.

I guess I am really stupid. I heard many things in my youth that I did not like or enjoy. Somehow I made it through. Seriously, I doubt if this issue was something most of us spent much time on as youths.

They've only scored a total of 25-points in their last 4 games.  I'd say they've already been 'boycotting' -- oops, 'mancotting' the season.

The scholarships would officially be withdrawn in May of 2016, I think.

Since when did speech, become something citizen's need to report to the police department? Did Obama just allow the Great State of Missouri to just suddenly leave the Union last week or something?
Because unless it did, or we have re-written, and re-ratified the Constitution overnight. So long as speech is not inciting others to violence. It's protected activity, one can't be charged with a crime related to it. And even more specifically so, if that speech is political, or religious in nature. And as for these professor's and student's who walked out, who refuse to play in team games. They should no longer be players, they should no longer be student's and they should no longer be teachers. If speech is going to now be a criminal offense, if it is to have any consequences, then let it start with those pushing and advocating that position in the first place. With these Student's, Players, and Teachers who advocate for such a thing, paying consequences for their speech. Something tells me these leftist hypocrites, would cry foul then.
