It's live tv.  They have the studio talking to them in their ear.  The reporter is interviewing the guest.  The cameraman has his back to the guy.  I don't see how they are also supposed to watch what the public is doing at the same time.  They need an extra hand and pair of eyes.

I don't believe in an ever burning hell, but that's the perfect place for this hateful animal. The excuse for these murders is always "RACISM." Were all supposed to buy that, and that justifies MURDER to the black lives matter crowd. From all accounts, this was a beautiful woman in nside and out, gunned down by an angry, bitter and hateful soul.  Hope he dies a slow and painful death -- then ends up in that ever burning hell I don't believe in.
