The gov't will now control how much water your dishwasher can use

The recent proposal from the Department of Energy is meant to boost dishwasher efficiency by setting stricter limits on the amount of water each dishwasher can use, among other changes. Under the plan, washers could use only 3.1 gallons of water for a single load.

But an appliance industry group says the new measures would be counterproductive -- as they'd force users to run their dishwashers more, and hand-wash, just to get the same results, in turn using more water.

I had heard about this.   It is so stupid.  There is no way that the dishes will get clean!

Why on earth would someone buy one of these new dishwashers.      I would just have my old one fixed.   I just see people running them for two cycles if they do that.

San Franfreako started having issue big time with their sewer systems after mandating all good little liberals replace their toilets with low flow, problem is, the sewer system was designed for heavy water flow, because they are already near sea level.

You guessed it, the sewers back up and the fire dept dumped millions of gallons through the system to purge it.
Now the city is at a loss as to how to remedy it, and you'll note, they no longer talk about the embarrassment that they have yet to find a fix for, especially in this drought.

I know for a fact they have not replaced the sewer lines, or the toilets, especially considering they've been outlawed 5 gallon flush, so how did they remedy the issue?
I'm willing to bet they haven't, and they're dumping millions of gallons of fresh water down the sewer (DURING A LIB CREATED DROUGHT) to keep the shit moving.

I have one that's a three flusher.  Gad, I HATE that thing....

It's going to take two cycles in a dishwasher, just to get the dishes rinsed.

The last thing you want to do is use dishes that have dishwasher soap still on them.  That stuff is caustic and can make you really sick, slowly burning out your insides.
