McAuliffe's grim final message: 'No Regrets'


Does Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe know something?

In a downtrodden final fundraising message titled "No Regrets," the former governor referred to challenger Glenn Youngkin as "Governor-elect" and promised supporters he did what he could to win the challenging race.

He wrote:

"I want to wake up Wednesday morning knowing that we did everything in our power to win this race."

"What I don't want is to wake up Wednesday with Glenn Youngkin as Governor-elect knowing that there was more we could've done."

"No regrets."

For months, McAuliffe's support has flatlined around 48%, while businessman Youngkin has surged with backing from independents and suburbanites. The race is in the margin of error in most polls, though pundits are leaning toward a GOP win.

He's so desperate he's outright lting again.


"'Guess how Glenn Youngkin is finishing his campaign?" McAuliffe said during his final rally. 'He is doing an event with Donald Trump here in Virginia.'  Trump wasn't in Virginia and he never campaigned with Youngkin."

It was a lie but McAuliffe's entire campaign has been based on lies and political dirty tricks.

McAuliffe, who has nothing substantive to say beyond lying and complaining about parents wanting a say in their child's education, would NOT answer questions last night after his final rally. It's obvious why. He is hiding from exposure.

It has nothing to do with voters.  It's if those who control the election system decide to keep McAuliffe or move on from him.  Virginian voters have nothing to do with this.

McAuliffe has now conceded. The NJ race is tied. Really amazing what the American people can do. Right on cue the left is now playing the race card as the reason. Fine with me. That is outright denial and I want them to continue down that road.
