Then the former FBI Director alleged that the President pressured him to close the investigation, and the President denied that the conversation occurred".

I used to think the election of Reagan was the high point in American politics and it kinda went down hill from there. When it looked as if hillary was going to be elected, that was the low point for me, even lower than the eight years of the socialist. Now only two and a half years later, the country is moving like a freight train in the right direction and the democrat party is not only being held to justice, they are destroying themselves. What a great year this has the potential to be.

Yep, even though Reagan didn't have to contend with actual Communists, he still had adversaries from both party's, of course nowhere near the level Trump has, where his own party refused to help him.
Reagan knew the GOP was infested with leftist RINO and did what he could by working with both Houses controlled by Dims, and yet still  came out a huge success, one I never though to be repeated in my life time, let alone the next century.
Reagan's time consisted of an established enemy in the USSR and an oppressive Govt here in the US and he beat both and gave us two decades of growth in the economy, the left despised this and so did the GOP in private.
But Trump is dealing with an entirely different level of evil that has moved us further left than Reagan even thought possible. Different times required different men, and both are perfect for their time, though Trump may possibly go down as the greatest President since Washington.

We have turned the corner, we've passed the halfway point, we are taking back the country from the left and we're stealing the GOP from the elite leftists.
I soooo treasure these days.
