QuoteStarbucks said it is encouraging its baristas to discuss race relations with customers. Baristas will be writing "Race Together" on cups and "may also engage customers in conversation through Race Together stickers available in select stores," the company announced in a press release.]
Now I know I'll never set foot into a Starbucks.

Starbucks is about to get a hard and fast education in reality.
Not everyone wants their Utopian opinion shoved down their throats. What they will get however, is a fist in the face to some of their employees, and this little experiment in liberalism is about to cost them a huge chunk of change in the form of lawsuits.

Can't stand their swill to begin with, but if it matters any, I prefer to deal directly with those who grow the beans we grind for our morning sacraments. Take for example that pound of Boquete we just got in, from the edge of the rain forests in northern Panama. Hand-picked with care by the family who's been roasting beans now for five and six generations.

Ahem. Latino excellence. Starbucks? Rat squeezings.

Seattle is gaining ground on San Francisco as the looniest city in America.

Yeah, I never understood the appeal, I prefer Tasters Choice any day of the week over that piss.

However, just the other day I was having a trailer brake installed on my truck, and decided to stop at the only restaurant within walking distance which happened to be a Denny's, a place I usually avoid like the plague, but had a burger anyway.

The onion rings were to die for, burger was top notch, but the coffee? Damn that was the best I've had in years.
I didn't think to ask who their supplier is, but will definitely stop back in and ask.

Starbucks can go take a flying firebelly-flopper into a formaldehyde-pond from a plywood-plank.

They disgust me.

Next time I'm there, I'll be sure to ask why there's not more black people working behind the counter.

"I want to speak to your black manager right now!!!"... oh that would be hilarious.

Or, I can just keep stopping by as many as I come across and take note of the color of the manager.  This may actually be pretty fun.

I can't think of a better place to discus race than in a coffee shop full of white elitist liberals, metrosexuals and hippies.

The director of communications for Starbucks has cancelled his Twitter account...because he doesn't want to talk about race to customers responding to this initiative.

QuoteCorey duBrowa, senior vice president of communications, deleted his Twitter account just one day into the "Race Together" campaign, prompting

"Starbucks's @coreydu wanted to talk about race so much he deleted his account after people started talking to him about it. #RaceTogether," wrote Brianna Leigh, a self-identified liberal.

"The senior vice president of @Starbucks global communications, Corey duBrowa, deleted his twitter to avoid talking about race #RaceTogether," added Chris Edwards, along with many others who echoed his sentiments.

Mr. duBrowa told Business Insider he deleted the account after a barrage of negative responses.

"I was personally attacked through my Twitter account around midnight last night and the tweets represented a distraction from the respectful conversation we are trying to start around Race Together. I'll be back on Twitter soon," he told the website.

The campaign was also widely ridiculed from both sides of the political and racial divide.

"I am desperate to hear a Starbucks barista studying Lesbian Dance Theory at the local community college tell me about race," said Ben Shapiro, a best-selling conservative author and editor-at-large at Breitbart News.

Jasbir Kaur Bawa, an assistant professor at Howard University School of Law, wrote at the liberal Talking Points Memo site that the campaign "can create unfair onus on minority employees and minority patrons.
