Ohh, I get it.  They wanna talk about race, but they don't wanna talk about talking about race.

Good example of lib-logic.

Can't stand their swill to begin with, but if it matters any, I prefer to deal directly with those who grow the beans we grind for our morning sacraments. Take for example that pound of Boquete we just got in, from the edge of the rain forests in northern Panama. Hand-picked with care by the family who's been roasting beans now for five and six generations.

Ahem. Latino excellence. Starbucks? Rat squeezings.
Quiller I"m with ya on that one. That said, uh how do I get that coffee? I'm a coffee lover here. It's all I drink, all day long! Beats Mountain Dew anyday!

But seriously please pm me with how I too can get some coffee like that.

On the topic though, I don't think this is a good idea either. Not everyone wants to hear politics when they go to get a cup of coffee!
One of every five Americans you meet has a mental illness of some sort. Many, many, of our veteran's suffer from mental illness like PTSD now also. Help if ya can. :) http://www.projectsemicolon.org/share-your-story.html
And no you won't find my "story" there. They don't allow science fiction. :)

The director of communications for Starbucks has cancelled his Twitter account...because he doesn't want to talk about race to customers responding to this initiative.

Wouldn't want to make LEFTISTS uncomfortable about getting told off by irate customers, would we?.....

But you know what's really sad? He's just as clueless today as last week over race. He has no idea it's the party he associates with that's is the main driver behind division in this nation.

These morons are the epitome of stupid white boy.

How would the life-uneducated baristas transition into a conversation?

Barista:  Hi!  Welcome to Starbucks.  May I take your order?
Customer: Sure.  I'll have a small coffee.
Barista:  How would you like your coffee?
Customer:  Black.
Barista:  Speaking of black...

Now I know I'll never set foot into a Starbucks.

I'll bet they don't bring up the topic of race with their black customers!

BTW, do blacks even go to Starbucks?

Billy's bayonet

Well since Star bucks is a "gun free zone" naturally I wont be going there to discuss race or anything else.

No one talks to me until I've had my coffee first.

One place that occasionally sells Boquete is Coffee and Tea Warehouse (but they're even better at other brands)....

http://www.coffeeandteawarehouse.com/

Here's a Google search for those in Boquete who do sell to the U.S. (Ours came out to roughly $19/lb. in 400-gram packages.) Boquete is a light to medium roast, and not the heavy dark roast by Starbucks.

The "Suarez" coffee from http://www.boquetepanamacoffee.com is going for $16.95 for 400 grams. The family has been in the business since 1900. They not only know Juan Valdez, they taught him how to pick beans to begin with.

The website I ordered our current bag of Boquete coffee through is http://boquetepanamacoffee.com/ . They are a co-op of several growers. I got a 400 gram bag of Suarez for $16.95, as that was one that was available. It is a very tasty light medium roast.

This one's for anybody who knows a friendly restaurant owner who can get this through their supply house. I know Gordon's Food Service handles it, and CISCO, but haven't heard who else.

Farmer Brothers of Torrance CA offers its Superior Signature Cup Cafe Royal coffee, which is SPLENDID for the more-than-one-pot-a-day types like myself. It's excellent as an any time of day brew...and it's cheap at 85 cents per pot.

This is the catch: you buy in bulk of 144 packets to a case, at roughly $125/case for my area. Yes, that's a lot to spend on coffee you think you may not like. I drank several gallons of it at my favorite local restaurant before I took the leap and ordered a case. I'm now about halfway through the second case. I don't regret the investment.

Yeah, I know. Sounds like people talking religion or politics. "You gotta pry my cold dead fingers off that coffee mug!" (or) "You like Starbucks, the ones that bans guns? DRAW!"

Whenever a Leftist proposes to "talk about race" it's usually code for preaching Left-wing pc doctrines to you. Such people don't really want a conversation, that typically implies hearing something different from your own views.
