It wasn't "iced tea." That's one more in a long series of lies that got mixed into the KoolAid^TM you drink every day. What the boy had was a can of Arizona Watermelon Fruit Juice Cocktail. Combined with the Skittles, he was in possession of two-thirds of a batch of "drank" or "lean," kind of a po' boy's meth, very popular with the hip-hop crowd down south. And while Martin may not have gone out of his way to get shot, he did go out of his way to hide in the bushes and jump Zimmerman. When Martin died, he didn't have Skittles and iced tea in his hands. He had Zimmerman's head in his hands, and he was smashing that head repeatedly into a concrete sidewalk.

That's what happens when people watch the View, Oprah, MSNBC etc.
It was all opinion, absolutely no facts whatsoever. Not one of those shows followed the evidence, not a one.

I never watch Oprah, The View, MSNBC at all.  I watch no sit coms.  I sometimes watch British mysteries on PBS  I often watch FOX News at night. That's where my news comes from as well as from the internet.   I never watch network news nor any of the shows on the three main networks.  Yet, I believe that Zimmerman was guilty.  Only his word states otherwise.  Of course, he isn't going to admit to murder.

I have no doubt based on the evidence presented in the trial that the "not guilty" verdict was a correct one. And I too resent the race hysteria surrounding the incident from the left. 

That said, though Trayvon Martin was no angel, Zimmerman was no hero, either.  The former was a tough kid who was already heading in the wrong direction, and the latter was a guy with multiple scrapes with the law before the shooting for issues related to "anger management" including being arrested for attacking a police officer who was in the process of arresting someone else, and whose first (of two) fiancee' put a restraining order on him for domestic violence reasons.  He was also put on probation twice and ultimately let go from a security guard job where he injured a drunk woman.  All before we had heard his name. 

He strikes me as a volatile, angry immature man who had no business being a "neighborhood watch" guy, le alone being allowed to run around with a gun his record.

Then why would you imply he "attacked a police officer"? His friend was attacked by an undercover police officer, unbeknownst to Zimmerman.  He jumped in to help his friend.  You should retract your implication that he "attacked a police officer", because that implies he did just that.  If you want to say he has a habit of finding himself in pickles, then sure.  The same can be said of me.  I've been in fights.  Luckily, none of them have been with undercover officers, otherwise, I'd be accused by people like you that I attack police officers.  I've had crazy girlfriends who would do some crazy shit. If you are going to defame someone, at least make sure you get the story straight.
