Resident Joe Biden signed legislation Tuesday to codify federal protections for same-sex and interracial marriages in a ceremony at the White House.

Vice President Kamala Harris, first lady Jill Biden and second gentleman Doug Emhoff also attended.

"Today is a good day, a day America takes a vital step toward equality, toward liberty and justice, not just for some, but for everyone," Biden said.

I love it! Do they really think this law is safe? We overturned a supreme court decision (RvW) and a law is very much easier to overturn than a court decision. This is just temporary until the right takes back congress, then its gone. And thats IF the SC doesnt overturn it first due to its unconstitutionality since morality is left to the states.
