China Town in NYC is controlled by Chinese gangsters call "triads" they extend to Hong Kong & known as "Hun Mun Tong". Many years ago, Some big name companies hired us to investigate some of these outfits bringing all this crap into Hong Kong from Mainland China. It was real easy, we hired some Filipino girls to pose as wives and buy gobs of that stuff wholesale and bring it into hong kong, Filipino's don't need a visa to go into china (Americans and Brit do) The Hong Kong police staged a bunch of raids confiscated a couple of tons of that junk and it didn't amount to squat, the factories in china crank out more and pay off border guards to bring it into Hong Kong from there it goes all over Asia and of course to the USA, with our lax border it isn't a surprise this stuff is streaming in. They can probably make more money semi legitimately than by smuggling drugs.

Gucci bags and Ray ban knock offs are bad enough but they started counterfeting Tiffany Jewelry with real silver, they also started to counterfeit US collector Coins and incredibly Confederate money, the coin fakes are easy to spot, they usually do the rarer coins and the just don;t look right.

China is in the process of perfecting their production quality and some of these knock-offs are beginning to look strikingly good.  The shabby reproductions are becoming rarer.  And I suspect there will be a day in which "made in China" may take on a new meaning......

The East is successfully co-opting the Western marketplace.

The video of Mooch's Tuskeegee address was posted on Saturday. I don't know that it will go viral or not, probably not.  The ironies of these race hustlers is lost on the low info majority. Most won't even notice.
Take Michelle's rap on how hard the kids have worked, the sacrifices they have made, to get to that dias and accept those degrees. How passionate. And yes, she is absolutely correct in praising those efforts, even if she was compelled to couch them in terms of racial tension and resentment. No matter, but what about her and her own life?

If we can go by what is reported, Michelle's Dad was a well connected, well respected fire department employee, which tells us, Democratic faithful. Michelle on the other hand, along with Barack, held what are called "Jesse Jackson Jobs" in Chicago. That means come in when you feel like it, chat around the office, have a few laughs, then screw out for lunch and don't bother to go back.  That's Democratic royalty in the Big Machine.   Their desks never had any work on them. If you know anything about Michelle, none of this comes as a surprise.

Any wonder why the blacks in the cities are ticked off?

You are correct.....but please don't compare the Japanese to the Chinese....Very different work ethic, I remember those products, I had to hide a small transistor radio from my father who threw anything we (Mom, me & siblings) bought or he'd smash it or throw it in the garbage. From what I recall those products were thought to be shoddy because they were small, they worked fine.

China might be planning to make quality items but I doubt it, all over Asia I place I called home for quite awhile Chinese products are known for their shoddiness and terrible quality. I had a pipe wrench break off in my hands, we had spigots that burst under pressure etc etc. even in places like the Philippines people won't buy cheap chinese products.

Yeah you have to remember that during that time period there were lots of different Black Militant organizations, as I recall there were a group of muslims who broke off from Farrakhan and began to plot or carry out Assassinations of cops, the article mentions NYPD Piangitini and Jones.

John Lindsey was Mayor of NY at the time, Lindset (a former Pub) switched sides to run for President, he made a big rep by calming down the boack community during the 60's riot, I think Lindsey had somethig to do with this case....just a hunch

They killed another security guard and injured a number of people Those guys were once Farrakhan's people, they broke off to form a more violent sect. They said that Farrakhan sent assassins to kill some of them, got Khalis' kids and other family instead.

Not all Black Muslims get along and not all are Nation of Islam (Farrakhan) and Farrakhan can;t always control his people, the more violent usually break off and form their own group

Holder was still in Law School.....I recall seeing him in the U.S Attorney's office in DC around the late 1980's...wore a jacket with elbow patches and smoked a pipe, faggy sounding voice....the other USA's didn't like him....then they put him in charge of Narcotics about 1992 or so...disaster.

There were sooo many of these dissident groups back then, a lot of them were off shoots of the more violent groups like the Black Panthers. It sounds like they were the black version of the SDS which later birthed the weathermen....I wonder if any from this group went on to involve in anything more violent?

As a freshman at Columbia University in 1970, future Attorney General Eric Holder participated in a five-day occupation of an abandoned Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) headquarters with a group of black students later described by the university's Black Students' Organization as "armed," The Daily Caller has learned.

Department of Justice spokeswoman Tracy Schmaler has not responded to questions from The Daily Caller about whether Holder himself was armed — and if so, with what sort of weapon.

Holder was then among the leaders of the Student Afro-American Society (SAAS), which demanded that the former ROTC office be renamed the "Malcolm X Lounge." The change, the group insisted, was to be made "in honor of a man who recognized the importance of territory as a basis for nationhood."

Black radicals from the same group also occupied the office of Dean of Freshman Henry Coleman until their demands were met. Holder has publicly acknowledged being a part of that action.

The details of the student-led occupation, including the claim that the raiders were "armed," come from a deleted Web page of the Black Students' Organization (BSO) at Columbia, a successor group to the SAAS. Contemporary newspaper accounts in The Columbia Daily Spectator, a student newspaper, did not mention weapons.

Holder, now the United States' highest-ranking law enforcement official, has given conflicting accounts of this episode during college commencement addresses at Columbia, but both the BSO's website and the Daily Spectator have published facts that conflict with his version of events

I don't know how we would assess the "strides" made as a result of running the fair race out of most American cities as anything other than violent. Americans live under the idea that eventually there will be a push back; I'm not so sure.
