I have a question. Why doesn't the religious freedom fighters put forth the debate that being gay is a choice....?

On the flip side of that coin why doesn't the LBGT fighters argue they are born this way....?

All you hear from both sides is that it's their "right".

This Small Business Owner Didn't Want to Make Shirts for Gay Pride Festival. Now He's in Court.

A lawyer representing a Kentucky print shop owner who chose not to print gay pride festival T-shirts argued in a hearing this week that the government cannot force a person to create speech against his or her beliefs.

Blaine Adamson, owner of Hands On Originals in Lexington, Kentucky, turned down business due to his religious beliefs in 2012. He chose not to print shirts for the Gay and Lesbian Services Organization in advance of a gay pride festival.

The LGBT organization filed a discrimination complaint against Adamson with a local human rights commission.

People sleep peacefully at night because there are a few tough men prepared to do violence on their behalf.

A foolish man complains about his torn pockets.

A wise man uses it to scratch his balls.

I add to that, if you are in business you are in business to make money, G&L money is as green as somebody's who is straight. The flip side is these idiots who don't want to serve somebody coffee because they are Trump supporters.

How far do you cut it....I'm not printing your T shirt or making your wedding cake because you committed adultery, you were "living in sin outside of wedlock" or whatever other moral transgression.

If that is your attitude then you shouldn't be in business because wittingly or unwittingly you are very likely to have such persons as your clientele.

It's not about who the client is,
it's about what the shirt says.

Kurt Vonnegut raised a similar question
in one of his books about 40 years ago.
He asked, "What if the Romans
wanted to hire Jesus to make crosses
so they could crucify more people?"
After all, he was a carpenter!

There is a huge difference between selling a few cookies or other goods to people regardless of their leanings, and being required/forced to participate with and/or implicitly condone that which our beliefs tell us is wrong. The First Amendment states: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..." It's funny how the left want to forget that there are TWO clauses in the First Amendment that protect freedom of religion. They are all to happy to use the first clause, coupled with a ridiculous over reaching blanket ideology that mere mention in a public venue constitutes "establishment." But they totally ignore the second clause. The fact is, any law which forces Christians to violate the principles of conduct in which we believe is a direct violation of the First Amendment.

Now that does not mean Christian business owners can, or should refuse ANY type of transaction with people of the LGBT community. There is nothing sinful about selling a gay couple some cookies, or a carrot cake, or a pair of T-shirts with Star Wars logos. Refusing to do so WOULD be discrimination. But when asked to make a WEDDING cake, when Christians believe marriage is defined by God to be a union between a man and a woman, then refusal is NOT discrimination - it is FREE CHOICE to follow what Christians believe to be higher Law. When asked to make T-shirts which SUPPORT a lifestyle which Christians believe to be defined as "abomination", refusal si again the CHOICE to not break with Higher Law.

SUPPOSEDLY the LGBT movement's desire is to be "left alone to live (their) lives as (they) wish."  At least that what LGBT supporters are always claiming. Yet they will not leave Christians alone?  Are we supposed, then to capitulate to their demands, ignoring the hypocrisy while they force us to break with what Christians hold to be the highest of authority? It's not about money. It's not about discrimination. It IS about having the right to say "I do not wish to participate in your lifestyle."

The owners of these businesses are stupid. THEY KNOW THE FAGOLA's are just waiting for a reason to pounce and make an issue out of it. They didn't know how to handle it properly that's why they found themselves in a crack.

Here is what I would have done.

Fags: We want 5,000 T shorts printed up for a gay pride rally.

Me: Wellllll when do ya think ya want these T shirts?

Fags: Two weeks.

Me. I'm really sorry but I'm real backed up, no way I can possibly handle that order, I'd like to but I just can;t sorry....Hey, why don;t you check out So and so.....

No mater what time limit I'd tell them I'm back ordered, my machines broke down etc etc, no way I'd ever tell them I can;t do it on whatever moral objective grounds.

Me and Mrs Billy do this all the time with Muslims, Mexicans and other undesirables that want to rent
our houses...well we'll have to put you on the list...first come first serve you understand and there are about three other folks in front of you....we have a pending contract etc etc blah blah blah. No way we tell them we don't want them in our houses we don't trust them etc.
