QuoteA woman has sued in California over a wildly successful GoFundMe campaign that benefitted a Starbucks barista who told her to put on a mask in the café. Amber Lynn Gilles said last year that she wanted half of the $105,000 "tip" given to Lenin Gutierrez, and now she's going after Matt Cowan, the Good Samaritan behind the money-raising endeavor.

"There is an invasion of privacy aspect here as well, and it's defamatory, and money was raised by him," her attorney Michael Harrington told KCAL9 in a Friday report.

I agree 1000%.

These people make money off of putting you on social media (YouTube for example) in order to put you on the spot. Time for the person to get their fair share.

Plus, the Go-Fund Me style of fake rewarding of people is overblown. Without the "incident" money would have not raise. Time for the person to get their fair share.

I support the lady, and hopes this sets presidence to stop the YouTubing of drama for entertainment and financial gain.

With all these lawyers with cameras on the street I'm shocked we have so much crime in the world.
This challenge to law and order is always the start to loosing our constitutional rights.
How come nobody was interested in educating people about these rights until online videos got monetization?
