I am conducting research in the education field. Does anyone have any information about the impact of affirmative action on minorities who attended elite colleges?

That's probably not going to be easy to find out.  A lot of AA students drop out at great expense.  I suspect the colleges keep those numbers under wraps.

I would say AA does not post failures of minorities as that would make them racist in this day and age.

He was formerly the General Counsel at the University Of Michigan who narrowly, but successfully argued that school's affirmative-action policy to The Supreme Court Of The United States.

It's great for people in academia who are too stupid to display any intelligence, so they become professors who give students assignments to write about the benefits of affirmative action in academia.

Thank you, but no, it is not to credit or discredit affirmative action. Simply looking for educational and personal information gathering purposes, with the intent of learning if anyone has had any personal experiences or knows of any interesting sources related to how it has affected minorities in America (positively or negatively).

Your probably going to find both positive and negative depending upon who writes about it.  What little I've read, is negative.

They have high drop out rates and class failure rates, that can make them feel bad about themselves.   I'm sure in some cases, they have to repeat a lot of classes just out of pure determination to graduate, which is not a bad thing, as it shows real determination to not be a quitter.

Look into Ward Connerly, he used to run the Ca UC system, a great man, doggedly opposed to Affirmation action, believed it destroyed the education system in Ca, and he's right.
By the way, Ward is black.

On Monday, the United States Supreme Court heard oral arguments in two cases surrounding affirmative action admissions at Harvard University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Thomas wrote in 2003 that "The Constitution abhors classifications based on race, not only because those classifications can harm favored races or are based on illegitimate motives, but also because every time the government places citizens on racial registers and makes race relevant to the provision of burdens or benefits, it demeans us all."

How exactly does affirmative action admissions policies  benefits higher education ? Every race has been enslaved, yet today's discussions only ever focus on the Atlantic Slave Trade, i.e., the black slave.The Irish slaves were more plentiful in the English Empire, they were cheaper and treated far worse since they were Catholic . Are they entitled to Affirmative Action consideration?
How bad were the Chinese treated here years ago ? I suspect the Chinese make Affirmative Action appear as one of the largest farce placed on our Nation . Why do the Chinese students excel with all the hindrances they need to overcome ?

The Chinese from Southern China had been actual slaves in the US and the West for centuries, they were sold and resold at the slave markets but their prices were much lower than contemporary black salves; even after the Africans were freed, the Chinese continued to be slaved in the US and the West until Chinese Exclusion Act was passed in 1882.

when elite colleges like Harvard admit less capable students into college,
just to fill a racial quota,
the students tend to fail and drop out at higher rates,
but they would have been able to pass the classes and obtain degrees
at an average college.
