On Monday, the United States Supreme Court heard oral arguments in two cases surrounding affirmative action admissions at Harvard University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
 
Supreme Court JusticeThomas has long been a critic of affirmative action. Thomas wrote in 2003 that "The Constitution abhors classifications based on race, not only because those classifications can harm favored races or are based on illegitimate motives, but also because every time the government places citizens on racial registers and makes race relevant to the provision of burdens or benefits, it demeans us all."

"All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws... "

How exactly does affirmative action admissions policies  benefits higher education ? Every race has been enslaved, yet today's discussions only ever focus on the Atlantic Slave Trade, i.e., the black slave.The Irish slaves were more plentiful in the English Empire, they were cheaper and treated far worse since they were Catholic . Are they entitled to Affirmative Action consideration?
How bad were the Chinese treated here years ago ? I suspect the Chinese make Affirmative Action appear as one of the largest farce placed on our Nation . Why do the Chinese students excel with all the hindrances they need to overcome ?

In American history, some of the worst acts of discrimination occurred against the Chinese. The Chinese from Southern China had been actual slaves in the US and the West for centuries, they were sold and resold at the slave markets but their prices were much lower than contemporary black salves; even after the Africans were freed, the Chinese continued to be slaved in the US and the West until Chinese Exclusion Act was passed in 1882.
