You're reading way too much into this, which is by design Hussein's reason for playing it the way he did, so as to create suspicion, and divide the right.

In the end, this is probably a good deal, which is why only a few sat it out, and the only thing that changes, is Congress won't be able to pick apart a trade deal, though they still retain the power to kill any deal.
Keep in mind, this is pretty much the same package Presidents have had for decades, until the Dims killed GW's ability to have the trade deal he wanted, instead, the Dims stole the power to micro manage all trade deals, and that was not normal. So what we're seeing is a return to normal practice by Congress.
Keep in mind how the Bill writing process works, and it will take the sting out of this and expose it for what it is, pure hype.

In truth, this isn't a bad idea in the least, it frees up Congress to focus on other more pressing issue than to spend their time time debating the intricacies of a trade treaty with some insignificant little island.

Point is, this whole thing is, by design, pure distraction, just like everything the Marxist does.

This started with Bush 1, I didn't agree with it then and I don't now! Congresses job is to read understand and debate these treaties It's the lazy mams out to pass the buck to the executive and it changes the law to giving them a straight up or down vote! It is another Obama care waiting to happen! We will have to pass the treaty in order to know what's in it!!
