QuoteIndyCar severed ties Thursday with the series flagman after a Facebook post in which he was critical of NASCAR's new policies. Those policies include no longer forcing team members to stand during the national anthem and banning the Confederate flag from racetracks.

People make threats and say all sorts of bad things on social media, but don't dare have a different opinion.

With all these lawyers with cameras on the street I'm shocked we have so much crime in the world.
This challenge to law and order is always the start to loosing our constitutional rights.
How come nobody was interested in educating people about these rights until online videos got monetization?

Nascar just died in a fiery crash, in the pit stop, no one at the wheel, no others involved, no cars on the track, though the owners were seen pouring gas on the fire.
Talk about self immolation....

I quit watch NASCAR long before all this. It wasn't as interesting as a product as it once was. I now have a reason never to go back.

Enjoy your new so-called "fans" who never cared about your product in the first place, and though we were a bunch of rednecks going around in a circle. Are they going to be loyal as we were?

On a side not: the fact that the majority of the drivers/teams did not perform some type of protest tells me that they are traitors. Pull a start start and park. Block pit road. Block the track. If you can't race the way you always have been, why let them?

Take a page out of their playbook.

is that Indianapolis 500??

IndyCar is the hybrid of NASCAR and F1, open wheel race caring sometimes banked tracks/sometimes on a circuit. Indy 500 is their Daytona 500 if I am not mistaken. I am not an expert on IndyCar since I do not watch it religiously.

Or, let's say, watch it anymore.

Booo no drama.......I thought instead of the flagman dropping the green starting flag he dropped the Confederate flag and said I quit.........
People sleep peacefully at night because there are a few tough men prepared to do violence on their behalf.

A foolish man complains about his torn pockets.

A wise man uses it to scratch his balls.

I know the name Indy500 but that's the extent.  Daytona I know. I've been there and my son in law and grandson with others are there now.  Prepping for races.     They had to take covid temp test and answer questions and sign paper upon entering Florida...ON THE INTERSTATE.

They're from Virginia but to be fair.... If I were governor of Florida I wouldn't be wanting infected New Yorkers in my state either.   I know many Floridians who wouldn't have a problem with calling Snow Birds and Liberalism an infection and setting up a border checkpoint.
