Voter I.D. is MEANT to disenfranchise!

Early voting has begun in NC for the primaries and we went and voted yesterday. Our voter is to be effective for the 2016 election. However, we had to sign a document verifying our names and addresses the election has match what is on our picture ID. So glad this will be implemented for 2016.

BTW, here one cannot be a registered dem and request a GOP ballot and vice versa. However, one can claim to be "unaffiliated" and voter in either primary, but not both. I personally feel in order to vote in a GOP or dem primary a person should be declared one way or another. It would cut down on the shenanigans.
