Yup, same. In hindsight, we probably could have done better - BUT, who lives out there to keep track of these DC swamp rats? At least he identified the bad guys - but, at what cost to America...? 20-20 is always perfect, they say. You'd think he considered what happened to Russia in Afghanistan would have sunk in, and kept us OUT.

He kind of reminded me of Henry Fonda,I thought he was pretty cool

a couple of years ago, I watched Easy Rider (about the 3-4th time), it'd been decades since I have, and first time as a Conservative & Christian - Fonda IMO is a little prick. Maybe that's the attraction, if you're young, anti-establishment, into drugs & saying F-you to the world. He got pretty rich, stoking that fire.

It doesn't take too much searching on Peter - to get the impression he's not a happy camper. I wrote the SOB off, he's just anti-everything, IMO.

I had heard nothing like that from him. Course I never really looked but still. Look at his comments say ten years earlier and it seemed different. I guess the bad genes finally broke loose after all.
