We have no idea what he and his wife agreed to.  It's perfectly reasonable to leave the state to escape the media, particularly if you know he still has weeks in the hospital.  It's not like there aren't smartphones to stay in communication.

This is an example of something that is completely explainable (leaving the media frenzy) is being portrayed as something devious.  Is your narrative possible and this is ALL one big lie?  Sure.  Anything is possible.  But, at this point, what legit evidence/reason is there to believe that this story isn't nearly exactly what's it's being portrayed as?

Actually there is a whole bunch of people asking. Several are news people who would be able to answer that question if the democrats were not playing games. I understand the need for privacy, but in politics, in government, transparency is needed and the people have a right to know. "Can he do his job" is a legitimate question and one that could be simply answered with a brief interview. Even in your warped liberal logic, there is no reasonable excuse for not doing so.

Right, but it's not based on anything that actually supports that belief.  It's all the assumptions and creating of narratives: "Well, if he truly wasn't brain dead, they'd have shown a video!"  What exists, at this point, that would be true evidence he's brain dead?

I agree that there's a window of time where he needs to get back to work or be replaced.  As far as losing privacy goes, I'd disagree, at least for awhile. When Scalise when he was shot, he was given some time to recover in privacy.

I don't think there is any question he is incapacitated. With every passing day the pressure will increase for information on his condition. I don't know the exact date is where the governor can make a semi-permanent appointment, but I know that is what the dems are waiting on.
