Hmm...  More money more officers, sounds like schools.  More money more teachers and more pay.   Less education for kids.

The spree of shootings in Chicago during the long holiday weekend reached 82 incidents and included 14 deaths, according to a tabulation of police reports.

That number marks a significant jump from the same period last year, despite an increase of "hundreds" of officers on the street to prevent violence.

How can these nightmare cities be turned around?  What would it take?
The danger to America is not Barack Obama but the citizens capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency.

If Solar was the Mayor of Chicago, what would he do to curb the violence in that city?

Is burning down the city an option?

I think my focus would be to break the back of drug gangs.  That's where I would put a lot of resources.

1) Education focusing on MORALITY
2) Take the kids from government dependent welfare queens and put them in old-fashioned Catholic orphanages.)
3) If the American People are subsidizing anyone, they need to spend 40 hours doing ANY sort of work. People should be TIRED at the end of the day. It keeps them out of trouble. If you refuse to work, don't expect to eat.

Jail what's in office now for a starter.
And the party officials who pull their strings. Show trials and internment camps to follow.

Forcing welfare recipients to earn an honest wage is impossible in the major metropolitan cities now run by Democrats --- which also are the top cities for murders per 100,000 citizens. Where there are Democrats there are unhappy angry violent people. It's a statistical fact.

Make such a parasite actually work, you get VERY unhappy angry violent people. Any Democrat pol will assure you: you have a RIGHT to other people's money, as long as you feel like stealing it. We're Dems. We're corrupt. That's what we do and who we are.

You can only clean up organized crime before you step on somebody's toes, and in Chicago that begins right at the mayor's office and doesn't let up until the lowliest patronage worker gets a check for pretending to put in a week's work.

That said, it sure would be sweet to see entire legislatures in ankle-chains. Send the right message in 2016....

G. Gordon Liddy proposed a killer narc (narcotics officers) squad back in the 60's... allegedly.  And former Chicago Mayor, Richard Daley, nodded approval for voluntary off-duty teams of black-and-white officers, armed with shotguns and ball-bats, to cruise 'crime areas' in unmarked cars and beat the crap out of any 'suspicious looter-types' they saw, at random.  -Allegedly.

Chicago's cartel-HQ's on the border could be sprayed with a toxic-herbicide stronger than paraquat

-Course I'd be impeached and in prison presently, but fear works.  What's the line from Once Upon A Time In The West... ?

I'm surprised a modern-day Bernard Goetz hasn't acted on the dealers. The Death Wish-like real shooter who was definitely not on the NYPD payroll.

Vigilantes? Why not? No cops need get involved. Chalk it off to a rival gang in media reports, until no street traders are left and even City Hall starts asking where they went. Just let Old Bloodthirsty roam the byways, punching tickets as he or she goes. What could possibly go wrong with letting that one go on?

Ooops. More than one such social savior has volunteered, once word gets out. Maybe a whole bunch of somebodies. Sure --- make a big club out of it and go blow the street dealers away. Roving bands of killers making us safe from one threat until they risk being out of something to do so they start on somebody else.

Yeah. Sure. Good luck on closing down the suppliers without small-fry to roll over on them.
