My synod uses the terms 'Visible Church' and 'Invisible Church'.

Visible Church=All the people who openly confess to being christian or serving christ. This means the official organized church bodies and synods. This is the church we can see and tell who are members. This can also include hypocrites and those claiming to follow God but in their hearts dont. Biden and piglosi are both members of the visible church.

Invisible Church=All believers from all time who are actually believers in their hearts. Only God truly knows who is in this church, as well as believers who have already died. There can be members of the Invisible Church who dont even belong to an organized church body. No honest informed leftist can be a part of this church, not if they really are a leftist at heart.

I cannot understand how anyone can be part of an "Invisible Church", considering that scripture specifically says that we are to go into "all the world" and "spread the gospel" or good news. How could one spread the gospel while being invisible?

I think you are missing the point of the word invisible. It is meant for the fact that we as humans cannot truly know who is all a true believer or not just based on which church people go to or if they dont go at all. Plus some who do go to church and act like good Christians are really hypocrites and not true believers. So its the fact that you cant for sure tell who is in it, only God truly can, so its sort of invisible to us.

Plus the term is also meant to incorporate those believers already passed away and in heaven, who of course we cannot see, making them invisible.

Basically all true believers thru all time.

Jesus said that those who actually love Him WOULD FOLLOW HIS commands and examples. People who are "invisible" are NOT following scripture nor what Jesus commanded us.

I'm not arrogant enough nor savvy enough to take any chances with eternal life/heaven/salvation. If there are others who want to do their own thing, that's perfectly fine with me but, I'm sticking with what the Lord said!

Ok look, im not trying to say that these invisible believers are not living their faith so others can see it. They need to be visible as well.

But think about someone who shows they have faith but really dont. Like they do all the stuff but are hypocrites at heart, like those two in the bible, anais and saphira or something like that. They did good deeds just for the public attention and werent really christians. They are 'visible' but not 'invisible'. You want to be both.
