Quote from: American Exceptionalism on November 03, 2021, 10:16:11 AMI believe God wants you to know ...

... that the mere apprehension of a coming evil has
put many into a situation of the utmost danger.

F.L. Lucan said that, and it is right. There is no faster
way to bring about misfortune than to think it is coming.
Thought is a powerful force, and it is a creative tool
that many people give little energy to --
or abandon in the face of any real threat
to safety or stability.

What are you worried about today? Why?
Rather than worry about it, would it not be
a better use of your mental time to visualize
a positive outcome? Use your mind in this way today
and you will have tapped one of the most
extraordinary tools God has placed in your hand
for the creation of your tomorrows.

This part is for you, RV you fool.

And...don't waste your time bothering me again. There won't be a further reply or a further waste of my time.

If you have an issue with what I post take it to the admin.

Right, everyone else is a "whack job" but, you are exceptional. Maybe you can't read your repeatedly saying "I believe God wants you to know ..." Maybe you are so delusional or drug addled that you don't even know what you have written. Maybe you are not even able to read your own writing. Maybe you are misled by the evil one. Oh, there could be many explanations as to why you make claims and then lie and say that you never posted them.

Pharoh was delusional also. His own son was killed and he still didn't get it so, I expect that you won't either. I won't have to answer for the folks you have misled. I won't have to answer for the lies that you publish. The Bible tells us that people will get more delusional and that they will deceive and be deceived. Only those who rely on God will have the truth.

Maybe you're just too ignorant to realize after being told politely multiple times that it isn't me saying it. Yet like the moron that you appear to be, you persist. It's a C&P.  Now since you can't practice the bullshit that you preach let me say it in terms that even a stalker like you can grasp.

STFU since I'm getting real tired of your shit and your unfounded accusations, you stupid fool. Don't come to this tread asshole if it bothers you. Now fuck off. I'm not interested in the crap you are selling. Shove your biblical references up your ass. Clear enough, yet?

Happy now? Can you understand those words or should I spell it out, you bat-shit crazy, obtuse imbecile.

Suck on this while you imagine something else that I never said.

I believe God wants you to know ...

... that what is important in your life is what you decide is important --
and this decision will indelibly create who you are.

When you awoke this morning, what was the first thing
on your mind? On your list of Things To Do, what is #1?
As you contemplate your current priorities, is there a person
at the top, or is it some kind of doingness ...?

Only you can know what is catching your attention,
what is calling to you for your energy.
Yet you can ask yourself a key question...

Where is love in all of this?

You're about as delusion as it gets. You imagine things that no one said.

Don't come to this thread if you don't like what is posted.

Big enough? Clear enough as well?

Save it for your flock...and stop lying. Third time I'm going to ask you. Post where I have posted anything that you claim.

Me thinks the Big Guy won't take to kindly to your incessant and delusional lying.  :tounge:

American Exceptionalism

I believe God wants you to know ...

... that it is the sweet, simple things of life
which are the real ones after all.

Laura Ingalls Wilder said that, and she was right.
This seems such simple stuff,
such simplistic knowledge, yet when we truly embrace it
as our living reality, our day-to-day lives begin to change
in very important ways.

So take a look today and this evening
at what sweet, simple things of life you may be looking past,
or right over, and neither seeing nor enjoying.
Look closely. They are likely to be
right in front of your face --
something you're looking through every day.

American Exceptionalism

I believe God wants you to know ...

... that helping family is the greatest joy.

Let no family member go without, or be in real need,
if you have what they lack. Share of your abundance.
Even if you think you are not abundant,
share what little you think you have.
What else is the point of having something if
you don't share it? To use it for yourself,
and yourself alone? Would that be the point?

I don't think so.  In fact,
that would miss the point of all of life.

And while we are thinking of family...could we think
of all people as members of our family? Now there's a thought
that would change the world overnight...

American Exceptionalism

I believe God wants you to know ...

... that the sage awakes to light in the night of all creatures.
That which the world calls day is the night of ignorance to the wise.

The Bhagavad Gita says that, and it is right. This scripture
means that when all creatures are living in the illusion of darkness,
the sage sees things as they really are, and awakes to that vision,
praising the perfection.

Conversely, what the world calls "day" (or "bright" or "real") is
an illusion...the "night of ignorance"...to the wise person
who sees how pointless and worthless the shiny stuff
of life that most people seek truly is.

Peer deeply into the darkness, then, and you will see the light.
Yet turn away from the brightness of what others call "day",
for they mistake the bright for the good.

American Exceptionalism

I believe God wants you to know ...

... that money problems can evaporate in the blink of an eye,
and that you are eternally abundant.

I know, I know...it sometimes doesn't seem that way, but the
truth is, you always have everything you need, right here, right
now. Do you know how I know?  You're still here. If you hadn't
always been given everything you ever needed, you wouldn't
be here.

Now all that is necessary is for you to understand this deeply.
Then, stop worrying. You'll be okay. Wait and see.
Or better yet, don't wait at all. Experience this right now.
And remember it when things don't look so good
(in your imagination).

You already know the reason
that this particular reminder
came to you today...

Just out of curiosity, does the author ever quote from the bible? I look at the website you posted and could see no reference from where he is getting his ideas.

I wouldn't know. He clearly believes in God and maybe he feels that his message is something that God would want people to know. What's the issue?  It's not as if he is speaking against God.  Just the opposite

Is a preacher's message lessened when he preaches about goodness and kindness as an example yet does not directly quote the Bible in his sermons?

People can believe in God, be spiritual, live by their beliefs and not quote biblical passages if they choose not to.

Isn't a positive message the point and not so much how he chooses to introduce it?

I just looked at his site again and there is a contact page. Maybe that's a question one might want to ask him.

http://www.nealedonaldwalsch.com/About/Contact

Personally, It's not something that matters to me for the purpose of posting something positive on a daily basis.  In actuality, I have these emailed to me so for me it's what the message is. We can all use a little positivity each day. I find them inspirational as well.

Keep in mind to that he introduces them with the words "I believe God wants you to know", not the more emphatic "God wants you to know".

Not sure if this answers your question but it does give some insight as to where he is coming from.

"Walsch was brought up as a Catholic by a family who encouraged his quest for spiritual truth. He informally studied comparative theology for many years. He says his books are not channeled, but rather that they are inspired by God and that they can help a person relate to God from a modern perspective. Walsch's vision is an expansion and unification of all present theologies to render them more relevant to our present day and time. He created Humanity's Team as a spiritual movement whose purpose is to communicate and implement his New Spirituality beliefs, particularly that we are all one with God and one with life, in a shared global state of being. This state can be achieved, Walsch argues, by the act of helping other people: "The fastest way to apply anything in your life is to help others to apply it... The fastest way to use any wisdom that resides in your soul is to help someone else... Because we are all one".

So long as his revelations dont lead him to a message contrary to the bible, in which case it may be a demon inspiring him, seeming like an angel. Man may err, but God's word is perfect.
Quote1 Cor 11:
13 For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. 15 It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness.
Not saying he is saying anything contrary to the bible, I havent read everything on here, but just saying watch out. History is rife with those who didnt use God's word as their source and were eventually lead astray.

The bible is clear, to be saved you must acknowledge 2 things:
1) You need to be saved,
2) Jesus saved you.

Thats it, heaven guaranteed. Faith alone, Christ alone.
I would be wary of anything that goes against that simple truth.

QuoteEph 2:9
Not by works so no one can boast.

James 2:
14What good is it, my brothers, if someone claims to have faith, but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? 15Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. 16If one of you tells him, "Go in peace; stay warm and well fed," but does not provide for his physical needs, what good is that? 17So too, faith by itself, if it does not result in action, is dead.

18But someone will say, "You have faith and I have deeds." Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. 19You believe that God is one. Good for you! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.

These are inspirational thoughts on his part. If he wants to say that he believes (keywords; he believes) that God wants us to know.... that is his choice of wording. He doesn't force anyone to believe what he says.  He can still think or believe that God would would want one to know something he says.  He's not being emphatic or saying these are Gods words. He's expressing his belief. Nothing nefarious on his part.

I agree with what you said so I'm not sure what I'm supposed to say other than thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Now I'm going to say this for the last time. If one does not want to read these... then don't. I am not the author's keeper, nor here to defend him when he has said nothing wrong.  Unless I'm told by the admin not to post these, I shall continue to do so and I am not going to defend him or his words. If I receive something from him that I feel is inappropriate, it will not be posted. That however has not happened in over 5 years.

If one wants to take issue with what he says by all means do so. However discuss it among yourselves, I am not interested in debating nor defending the harmless things he says, how he says it or why he says it. Nor do I need reminders on what the Bible says.

Amazing how people can take good intentions (his and mine) and spin it into something nefarious.

As I suggested, if you want specific answers, then ask him. Most will get his message and not quibble over how he introduces it.

So if you're going to quote what he says and think that somehow I have to explain it or defend it, then I suggest don't click on the thread. It's not going to happen going forward.

In fact, only one person seems to have taken it as intended...a mere daily inspirational thought.

If one wants to discuss the Bible then clearly this isn't the thread for it.  This isn't a Bible study thread.

Solar

How about you just post the link and let people decide if they want to read them or not?
I say this, only because people tend to get irritated having to clear new posts on a subject they aren't interested in.

It has nothing to do with the content, but being preached to constantly.

Messenger and message aside, it can become nuisance content after a time and this tends to bring on bad replies.
This comes from experience, no matter how well intentioned.
