Eurovision Song Contest finally got a smart entry after ages. If the voting is real, she wins by far. Konstrakta (Ana Đurić) is an established Serbian singer for almost twenty years, known for her sarcastic lyrics. Please turn CC on for the English translation, I believe it's worth of watching and enjoying. (And the title will bring a million readers to the forum, lol. )

I never took, and probably never will take Euro-vision as a serious thing.

There is constitutional law and there is law and order. This challenge to law and order is always the start to loosing our constitutional rights.

Reading along with the words was interesting.  Definitely some truth to some of the words.  Towards the end her statements are true.  A healthy body with a sick mind or soul is not truly healthy.

I didn't watch it for ages, but it was ok during 1980s, that is why I followed it for some time because of inertia and remembering "good old days". Last time I watched it was in 2010, and I actually voted for Lena Meyer-Landrut and she won, lol, she was so surprisingly overcute, and as a German friend said: "She couldn't sing, but at least she didn't look like a whore."

But in recent decades, Eurovision Song Contest has become a freak show of gays and whores. And I believe the winner has always been fixed in advance, so we shall see. I didn't watch this year's local competition for the entry, but everyone started talking about Konstrakta, and I needed to check what's going on. At the first glance, I thought "what is this bullshit", I needed several days to figure it out, the meaning and the message, and now I'm obsessed with her and the song. I thought, this song looks like a diversion, and then I saw in one of her interviews she also stated this song looks like a diversion, so we are at the same frequency.

She was a singer in a soft pop group called "Zemlja Gruva" ("The Earth Grooves"), which was ok but not really my taste. In last few years she started her solo career with something different, artistic and sarcastic music and lyrics, and I like it way better.

This song was part of her recent triptych dealing with some existential questions, she didn't actually want to compete for the Eurovision Song Contest, but her friends from her music studio persuaded her, and so she sent the middle part just to promote her music. But it happened that she won by the popular vote.

There are also CC in English, and I needed to watch it several times to understand what she wanted to say. I am totally obsessed with her right now, so I wanted to share her artistic work, I belive it is something unique. And the best part, she is not interested in being popular, she just wants to do her thing.

Montenegrin representative to Eurovision Song Contest 2017 Slavko Kalezić met Conchita Wurst.

In 2007, Serbian singer Marija Šerifović won the Contest, and I wonder would have she won if she was not a Gypsy lesbian, but at least she's not some freak, she's a daughter of a known singer, and an intelligent person, it's just that case when the hormones got messed up.

What a disgrace, Ukraine won just for the political reasons, why did they even hold the "contest", they could have just said Ukraine was the best because they stand with Ukraine.

Well, it was quite serious when I first became aware of it in 1983, when we had Daniel from Montenegro representing Yugoslavia with song Julie, how he met Julie in July, but it was a real song, and one of my favorite of all time.

There were real singers with real songs, they were accompanied by the real orchestra, and there was real audience, Eurovision Song Contest was a thing for respect.

But now, it has become political Gayvision, it has nothing to do with music anymore. But I can't forget the good old times.
