The Soft Machine. Probably the most influential Jazz Rock/ Progressive band ever. They were part of what is now known as the "Canterbury Scene". These from their first album (1968)is basic organ/bass/drums. Some amazing music with incredibly heavy bass lines .

Peter Bardens - Don't Goof With A Spook (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JxEP2IV8Kz0#)

Peter Bardens first record before he joined Camel. This song has the brilliant Peter Green on guitar. One of the greatest blues guitarists of all time.

BB King said "He has the sweetest tone I ever heard; he was the only one who gave me the cold sweats."

high praise indeed.
