Watched this classic the other night. Great movie!
I especially love some of the non-PC humor in it.
Sam Spade (describing Gutman): He has more chins than the Chinatown phone book!

Another great Bogart film that improved with age is the 1948 B. Traven greedy-gold-miner tale
The Treasure of the Sierra Madre. Film director John Huston's father Walter was part of this terrific cast. But if you're still in Gumshoe Mode, try Bogart as private eye Philip Marlowe in
The Big Sleep. A pretty good early film was
The Black Legion, about a Klan-style group in Michigan.
Scroll down on this filmography page, to see the years his movies came out. 1943 was actually a fairly light year in his career.

A timeless standard! One of the few movies I can watch twice a month. And for me, one of the very best features is this classic beauty. (Oh my lord, those eyes!)
