BTW, Quill, Momma Shooter loved the Rita clip, as I knew she would. Thanks again.

I had forgotten she could dance that well, and the editing job was irresistible. A lot of the YouTube wizards think that adding new music improves on dance numbers set to entirely different music. This one was a rarity. It delivered the goods, and then some.

Most remember Rita Hayworth as a fine, beautiful, and talented actress. She was much more, probably having gotten her start as a 'hoofer'.

Unfortunately, her taste in men was a little shaky, but compared to some of the turkeys passing themselves as artists today, most were the real McCoy.

When I was a teenager in Miamisburg, Ohio, I used to get my hair cut at Andy's Barber Shop, down by the river. It was a four-chair shop in the old-fashioned layout, with magazines and butt-cans and vinyl-padded chairs along the wall facing the barber chairs. Mirrors behind the chairs lined that wall. But above the mirrors were black-and-white movie posters. I remember Clark Gable and John Wayne and Abbott and Costello... and THIS:

THIS I will never forget. Wow.

From 'Gilda', I believe.

There's middle ground. Back when I was dating the strange woman who became the first Mrs. Tbone, there was Bette Midler, the "Divine Miss M," as her album described her. Good teeth, GREAT tits, lots of smile and fun and noise. Kinda like the first Mrs. Tbone.
