With all these lawyers with cameras on the street i'm shocked we have so much crime in the world.

There is constitutional law and there is law and order. This challenge to law and order is always the start to loosing our constitutional rights.

Frauditors are a waste of life.

Tell ya what, Solar, we may have not been a smarter country back then, but we certainly were a lot wiser.

Need to go rest for a while, using that washboard gave me a workout.

The chalk holder gave me the longest pause, then I remembered in 2-3rd grade, that's the thing the teacher used to draw the parallel lines on the board for learning cursive exercises, and musical notes.  3 lines for cursive, 5 for music.

LOL! Mom used to make me do that on the back porch when I was 4, though, I think it was just to keep me occupied. I had no strength to wash clothes, but I tried.
Then dad came home with a 5th gen hand me down hand wringer washer, got my fingers caught in the roller, that was the last time I was allowed around it. Good times...

I still have my Grandma's kettle that was in the carport. We would build a fire under it out of corncobs to heat up water so she could wash clothes in her wringer washer, at first it was a hand crank, later a electric and later still a modern one that was moved into the house. That old kettle was used for hot water for washing clothes, butchering hogs, and plucking chickens. Mom had a washing machine, but no dryer until I was a teenager.  You're right, I did not realize it at the time, but those were good times.   Sure wish I had the old wringer washer.

I've kept an eye out over the years, they really did do a great job, better than the spin cycle of most washers. I used to put my pants on as soon as mom ran them through the wringer in the summer, kept you cool for awhile.

Had been assigned to clean the chalk board, 'cause I was tall.   All that nasty chalk... just sitting in the tray... waiting for me to sprinkle a few drops of water on each one...  Pretty much ended that nonsense.

11 of us kids, gave mom plenty of crank power.   And there I was, trying to get the clothes to go in straight, fingers running into those rollers, "MOM!!!  Billy needs something else to do!!!"
