Is there a forum section for dealing with family members/close ones who are turning down a bad path?

My younger sibling is showing signs of turning into a full on leftist. Tonight she was losing her mind trying to get me to understand that rape epidemics and immigration crisis in the UK were less important than the cost of separating from the EU. I argued that the belief is an emotional one and has mostly to do with things like rape cover-ups and sex trafficking. She said that emotions have nothing to do with it, and that logic is more important. I asked her if reducing immigration thereby reducing rapes was logical. She started yelling saying it was hating on religion for arbitrary reasons, so I ended the conversation before I started yelling too.

I feel like I'm having conversations with someone I don't know anymore. She started college last year so it appears as if brain washing has taken full effect. Not sure what to do....


Edit: little emotional right now. I will add, this came from a full on atheist, how an atheist and someone who sees much of the religious community(Christians only apparently) as oppressive, but still thinks Islam is perfectly fine is beyond me. This logic can only be brandished by full on leftist.

Unfortunately, you can't fix stupid. She will have to experience the pain of her ways before she changes.

Wow, I feel your pain as a Conservative, and what I thought was equally Conservative in my brother whom I argued with over his support for a NY Liberal named trump.
As Super pointed out, you can't fix stupid, especially where emotion is the driving force behind their unwillingness, the only thing that can is reality.
They need to get mugged by those they have an emotional attachment to, like a cheating spouse caught in the act and then suddenly realize it's been going on for years, that you have been living a lie.

Maybe there's a way you could move the process forward, but not knowing your sister, I wouldn't know how to approach the situation.

Just another point. It appears you are young if your sister just started college. Let me share that most of here have been around quite awhile. Some of us are recovering democrats from many years ago. If your sister has an open mind there is hope for her once she escapes the indoctrination compound of higher education. I know I did.

I take it your sister is not footing the bill yet for b o care for herself and others.  From the sounds of it, she not footing all the other bills for her lifestyle also.   Remember reality is the state of things as they actually exist, rather than as they may appear or might be imagined.   

Reality is I am not saving 2.500$ a year on b o care like he said I would.  I am pay out 6.000$ more then I did before b o care came on line.
