Belgian cyclist who kneed a five-year-old girl to the floor on Christmas Day for blocking his path is SUING her father for sharing the viral footage
The cyclist knocked the girl over in a park in Belgium on Christmas Day last year
A court in Verviers ruled that the man was guilty of deliberately kneeing the girl
But the judge only issued a suspended sentence due to the social media fallout
The cyclist was ordered to pay nothing but a symbolic €1 in compensation
But he is now suing the girl's father for defamation because he said the hate he received from the public after the video 'made him scared to leave his house'
