At about 18 seconds, it looks like a lizard runs up the tree. but it does not seem right. Is that on the camera lens.

Good question. We have some really big bugs that fly around the forest at night. Leave it to a camera to catch it.

I had Toy post this one because it was hot today, we'd been taking down more trees and stopped for a break.
Notice my neighbor as soon as the video starts, I said: grab a bottle of water and have a seat.

He dumps it out and refills it from the creek.    
Yes, the creek is spring fed, but I'd never drink from it, you never know what died up stream.
I just found it funny, and he's right, it beats any bottled water on the Mkt.

Oh, and that break we took? Lasted the rest of the day, it was sooo cool by the other creek where we sat the rest of the day.

Garbage cans at the end of the road got dumped over (not ours).  The garbage men do not get out and clean any of it up so the trash just sits there.  Most of us have the new bear cans and they are worth it.  Toy

I  just went ands looked at where he went at the end of the video. Fence was  crushed to the ground.

It's possible he lives down there, just above the creek, there is a natural cave for it to hibernate in during the winter months.
About 30 years back a momma lion raised her cubs there. So I wouldn't be surprised if other predators use it as well.

Your not going to rush down there to check?

I wish I could, but after that snow storm knocking down all those trees, it's impossible to walk back there, but I hope to have it open by Fall.
Close on the color, I think it's a young blond/cinnamon, but the camera color rendition is poor in infrared.
I'll have toy post some video when we do open it up. Hell, I haven't been back there in a few years so it could be fun.

Sometimes I just have to share the cute.
