Gooood Mornin' CoN_ServA-Tives!  (think Robin Williams)

First, my thanks to that peachy person in Atlanta who let me in.

The thing about being here is it almost has a calming affect to see and read so many like minded people.

Minds rooted in and based on the realities of life and living.  As Samuel Johnson said:  "Hell is paved with good intentions".

The Kum ba yah crowd are paving the way straight to the front gates of their domain.

The thoughts and points of view displayed here are encouraging and are a source of information and enlightenment.

BRAVO!  Take a bow one and all.

(A warning to gun-grabbers: even if I'm dead my finger will be on the trigger)

What part of NJ?

Have you ever had a guy threaten
to beat you to death with his leg?
Because I have, and it's not pretty.

Hey all. Let in through the back door by DC (thanks!).

FTM in his early 30s who grew up in rural WA and jumped on the MAGA train in late 2015 when Trump's presidential candidacy was gaining speed and Youtube was a little less censored. Been 'out' on the Internet as a gay right-winger in my more shitposting days and deciding to be out as trans partially to make a point to a friend about being a transguy in the right-libertarian camp.

Read a lot of conservative articles, particularly those linked in CTH, but this is the first time I'll be jumping into an explicitly conservative forum.

Been getting back into country music with artists like Ryan Upchurch (love his funny compilations, too!) and Adam Calhoun. I like landscape photography, camping, old-school metal, and a good chuckle. And I'm feeling a little hopeful for my home state with the recent write-in campaign in Seattle of all cities working, though there's still a big clean-up left to do with our government.

Other than said friend was pretty de-moralized this election, I can't really say since I've away from the big city for several years. I do remember them storming all over Ballard at the 2016 election results outside one of my old jobs though. My co-workers did all have a good laugh about Buffalo and Seattle on our coffee break this morning (we're on the working floor of a metal distribution warehouse). Fun bunch of guys and gals.

Edit: Actually, I can also say that while BLM and pride flags are everywhere in the couple places in King county I've been to, mom-and-pop shops in Snohomish and Pierce county quite thankfully don't put up such things. And a gift shop in Chelan county has had some funny pro-2A hoodies.

StillStanding

Hello All!
I got here by DC allowing me in the back door
Just want to say Hi...
I saw some really cool posts earlier this week
I'm a Conservative with some Libertarian leanings
All of our Liberties, IMO, are based on God and the 2nd Amendment.
It's the US Armed Forces..and not necessarily the Generals...who have kept this Country free.
As I grow older, I'm becoming more and more concerned with the Country that my GrandChildren are going to be growing up in
This is the BEST country the world has ever seen.
She has her faults...but so much more that is Good and Great.
Anyone can come to her...legally of course...and make a life for their family and their selves.
In doing so, they can talk freely...travel freely...and live a life with a God of their choice.
Anyways...thanks for the opportunity to join this forum
I'll sign off by saying...
Yep...he's StillStanding
God Bless America!

Welcome to the forum SS.

And just so you know, I'm willing to bet you'll drop the Libertarian leanings after you've been here for awhile.

I can explain as time goes by.
