Fauci: US Likely Won't Go Into Lockdown Over COVID-19 Delta Variant


National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases chief Dr. Anthony Fauci on Aug. 1 signaled that the White House doesn't want to reimplement COVID-19 lockdowns amid a surge in cases of the Delta variant, amid conflicting messaging from top administration officials in recent days.

There has been speculation that lockdowns and stay-at-home orders may be reimposed after Resident Joe Biden told reporters on July 30 that the United States "in all probability" will see more lockdowns. But a White House spokeswoman, Karine Jean-Pierre, said on the same day that U.S. officials don't anticipate another lockdown on the horizon.

Speaking on ABC News' "This Week" on Aug. 1, Fauci appeared to agree with Jean-Pierre's assessment.

"I don't think we're going to see lockdowns. I think we have enough of the percentage of people in the country, not enough to crush the outbreak, but I believe enough to not allow us to get into the situation we were in last winter."

Fauci, however, predicted "things are going to get worse," claiming "an outbreak of the unvaccinated."

I received great news over the weekend.  My brother and sister in law got vaccinated.  Something about preferring life over politics.  Both are conservatives who would rather live for the money and pensions saved through life, than die for hating science.

I was way off in my calculations.  Joe has only been in office for 6 months?  Seems like no mortal could screw this up is so short a time span.  Felt like two years.  So do your own math and replace 15 months with 6.  Wow!

I took the nearest big city and compared that data to the US, relying on Solar's shaky data.

The city has recorded at least 1,892 shootings through June 28, the most recently available statistics, an increase of almost 12 percent compared to 2020's 1,692 and a 53 percent increase over 2019's 1,234 shootings during the same time.

Last year was one of the deadliest in the city in decades, with 775 killed, a sharp spike from the 500 homicides in 2019.

Then I looked at covid cases in the US in 2021.  The numbers that I found start with 3, are generally succeeded by a 5 (indicating closer to 4) and then 7 zeroes.

So, if I go with the 4 and eight zeroes, then take Solar's data at face value (which is ridiculous ... and divide 40,000,000 by 4,000 what do I get?

That, my friends, is what 3 to 5 posters on this page want you to believe is "data" for why you should risk your future, your children's future, your grandkids future, and why we should explore life on Sunanatood. 

Get real, get vaccinated.  Quit posting bs about data that is only hype.

So I self-reflected.

My view as the conservative saviour of America is that the youth prevails.

No conservative should ever sacrifice the life of their grandkids for the sake of the memory of bra-burning or for their dementia.  Either case works.

If you want to support your life over the life of kids, then get off the Roe-Wade platform and allow folks, like myself, who actually support the life of those who do not have to platform to choose, over choice.

It is always an option to get informed and to make an informed decision ... not one based on .01% of the population getting sick, despite the flu shot.

So get pissed.
