1 in 6 Americans are black.  Take a look at current TV shows and commercials. I guarantee that you will find a much higher ratio of blacks then is in the population. AND try and find black villains. Which is even more telling.

Same with gays now. They make up like less than 1% of society (tho that is 'increasing' as its become cool to be gay or at least Bi), yet almost every mainstream show or movie has at least one gay if not a gay couple or two.

I have left Hallmark channel for this reason. Mainly because they hold up the innocence of romance in their stories.  No sex between the lead characters and any kissing is simple sweet kisses.  If you want me to believe that you hold up the purity of love then don't try to shove the gay agenda on to me.

Towards the end of my watching their channel I would DVR a movie and the moment they went with the gay relationship I would stop and delete the rest of the movie.  Sad some of my favorite actors/actresses were on Hallmark.  Toy

Obviously you missed all those police dramas, based in cities, where the villain is almost always a minority. As for commercials, they produce them when they believe they have an audience to gain. Since normally surveys are done before they're put before the public, obviously, the advertising firms believe there is someone out there to appeal to. Contrary to a belief held by some, blacks are not all poor and/or criminals and/or living in inner-city ghettos.
