To my mind this  is  yet another reason to defund the  increasingly leftist, marxist  military. Today's officer corp would  be  quite at  home in Cuba.

This began with the Obama administration. Most people did not comprehend what he meant by "transforming America". He quietly worked behind the scenes to purge the military of heroes we grew up with in the military. This was part of his plan and that is why we need two terms of a true conservative in the WH to reverse the purge, not only in the military but all governmental agencies.

There are all kinds of promotions, be they field promotions, or time served, a promotion is a promotion, and if you are cheated out of a promotion, there is recourse.

What you're talking about is greasing palms in the upper ranks (Pentagon BS). Lifers who just want a pension, and they won't last long once Trump returns.
They can easily be replaced with actual Patriots.

I worked alongside the military for many years.All through the don't ask don't tell crap. The vast majority of the military knew that for what it was and paid lip service to it and nothing more.

I think what is going on here is you are mistaking the leftist leadership in power with the rank and file. I agree much of the leadership is trash these days as many of the good ones like flynn have left. Trump put good people in, obama and biden have been flooding it with bad people.

However, just because the leadership of a base orders woke shit to be the norm doesnt mean the rank and file agree. The soldier is the opposite of the libtard in the sense that the libtard screams and whines while the soldier stoically endures hardship.

Most of the soldiers fully disagree and fight it where they can but for the most part keep their heads down and talk amongst themselves. But they wont bend. Soldiers are men of principles and there is probably alot of tension between them and their leadership right now. 

That being said, even in my day in the late 2000s there were two guys in my company who were rather BLM-esque(before BLM) and worshiped malcolm X. There were also a couple of atheist intellectuals who bought into the whole climate change hoax and revisionist history. So there are always a few junk soldiers but most are good.
