We had gusts up to 70mph. but most of the wind is around 40 to 50 mph.  And the power blinked as I was typing this for the first time and I lost the internet for about 2 min.

Overall it was a really nice day here. Maybe just maybe spring has sprung and we've seen the last of the snow although we still have piles if it here and there.
Crazy but not stupid!

We'll get one more snow and that will be it for the season. I'm glad it's over.

Damn! It was gorgeous here today, 77 and, well, quite windy, gusts over 30, but we never feel it because of the forest.
But the pollen, that damned pollen! :scared:

Without the pollen there would be no more trees. Back when I had a lot of allergies I lived on Contact to get me through the spring. I had red itcy eyes for weeks, even months.
A severe allergy to mold almost killed me with asthma when I was a kid. Of course I was allergic to a lot of other stuff but the mold almost did me in.

Same here, mold is a killer for me. My digestion literally shuts down and everything goes to shit from there. No pun intended.

My bronchal passage would swell up and I could not breath. It got so bad my chest was deformed, pigeon breasted from struggling to breath. The doctor I had had my mom running a vaporizor constantly which created the ideal enviroment for mold to grow. He'd given me an allergy test but somehow had skipped mold which is a very common allergy and that stuff grows  everywhere.  Of course the serium shots I was taking daily were doing me no good at all. In desperation they tried another doc who gave me another allery series and he found that I was highly allergic to mold most of all. After another series of shots with another serium this time including the mold I was cured. That first doc very nearly killed me off. Eventually even my spring time hay fever faded away too. I'm still allergic to fools but there is no known  antidote for that.

At least they found you a competent doctor. Mine thought it was food allergies. It wasn't until years later I realized under the house water would stand most of the year and the mold never let up.
I probably lost 15 years of sleep growing up itching and coughing till I passed out.
Now I'm a mold hunter and I'm relentless, that shit will kill ya. You're lucky to be alive.

Well this week has been in the high 80º & 90º for my area.  But at my place has been hitting 100 to 105º.  Have to water the yard 30 min. a day now and cut the grass twice a week.  Next week is looking to be in the mid 70s to 80º.

Same here. WE were still in a cold early Spring, then last week, Summer hit us over night.
Tomorrow we cool down for a couple of weeks, back to close to normal, upper 60s to low 70s.

Just after 8PM and it 83º and Sunday is calling for 92º for my area.  So I should see 100+ at my place.

Had to replace 4 yard sprinkler heads and adjust 10 sprinkler heads up 4".  Not bad for 15 years. I have 5 sets with 5 sprinkler heads each that run for 30min. each, every day.

First cutting of hay has been baled and stacked. So there will be four cutting this year.
