Last month, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention made headlines with a blunder of epic proportions. According to a report by the Food and Drug Administration, two of the three CDC laboratories in Atlanta that created the coronavirus test kits violated their own manufacturing standards, resulting in the agency sending tests that did not work to nearly all of the 100 state and local public health labs. What's more, the CDC was found to be sending out tests contaminated with the actual virus.

Testing for COVID-19 has been notoriously suspect and embroiled in controversy since the beginning and the more information that comes out, the more controversial it gets.

Another can of gas on the dumpster fire that is the COVID-19 response is the fact that many tests have been giving false negative and false positive results. A man in Georgia tested both positive and negative for the coronavirus just four hours apart.

Shaun Smith was scheduled to undergo a surgery over the weekend, so he was administered a test on Saturday at 8 a.m. which showed he was positive for COVID-19. Smith explained to FOX 5 Atlanta that he decided to get one more test later that day just to make sure — which came back negative.

Now, Smith has no idea whether or not he has the virus as he has since tested both positive and negative.

Seriously?!   A fruit tested positive for COVID-19???

Just found out in our local hospital that covid positive nurses were still coming in to work.   Admin said to come in anyway.

and they ARE letting the elderly die.  I don't care if they are telling you they are taking care of them.  NO.  they are not.  They are not getting plasma antibodies, nor remdesivir nor hydroxychloroquine.   If they are over 70 they do not qualify for this.   that's right.

Don't know, I see nothing in their actions but trying to divide this country. It seems to me they have drawn a big line in the sand, even bigger than obama's, to try to keep this nation shut down. This pulling people from their homes is just a test to see how far they can go, the further they go, the easier it will be for the next democrat socialist to destroy the constitution. 

In late January, President Donald Trump signed an executive order banning travel from China to the United States after it became clear to him and his national security team that the COVID-19 outbreak was likely to worsen and become a major health threat.

Shortly thereafter, the president also restricted travel from Europe after several countries there became coronavirus hotspots.

But as turns out, according to a new study, it's New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo who should have acted to restrict travel from his state.

The New York Times, surprisingly, reported Thursday that researchers believe people who traveled from the state to other parts of the country were responsible for "seeding" various regions with more COVID-19 cases:

No, I mean at gun point. But that aside, NY Slimes is wrong, the first cases started in Ca. Thing is we wouldn't have simply have rolled over and our Sheriffs wouldn't have enforced it.

We got sold on this bill of goods by assuming it was only temporarily, why within a short week or two everything would be back to normal. Pelosi was encouraging people to go to San Francisco,  Blasio was encouraging people to get out, Trump was being a raciest for shutting down travel, ect, so how bad could it be?
The biggest mistake made was putting power into the hands of liberal governors and mayors that was totally unconstitutional. That has only made it easier for the next crisis. The good news, I think this has killed a party that was on life support.
