People are squealing that Olympic fraud Jim Thorpe was "cheated" out of his fake wins and how he was the "World's Greatest Athlete." All lies. The "Jim Thorpe played a few games" for small money is a lie. He was paid cash for years at the school he went to and played for professional teams for two whole summers. The cash payments at the school was a scandal in and of itself. Those years he was taking the cash payments he was faking amateur status. The athletes at the Carlisle Indian Industrial School were told to lie and not tell anyone about the payments. Sports gambler Pop Warner was the team's coach.

The rules for amateurs were very strict at the 1912 Olympics. Life guards could not compete because they were paid to practice swimming, they were professional swimmers. A professional athlete like Jim Thorpe coming in and beating amateurs is disgusting. He was a liar because he claimed he had no idea that the Olympics were for amateurs. He was 25 year old and said "I hope I will be excused because of the fact that I was simply an Indian school boy." Yeah, right, a 25 year old boy. Oh, and then the demanded to be a free agent when he went to play baseball because he said he played professionally! So he wanted amateur status for the Olympics, then claimed to be a professional for the same time period! It was whatever was to the fraudster's advantage

The whole "World's Greatest Athlete" was based on B-S. Thorpe beat amateurs, but are amateurs the best? He was never even the best athlete on the professional teams he was on. The headlines came from a government official that told Thorpe he was the greatest athlete in the world, that was not based on anything.

The Olympics Committee never restored him as the winner, he was re-listed as a tie. The "restoration" was based on complaints had to be made within 30 days with a payment of 20 kronor. Complaints did not include the 20 kronor. Truth was complaints were ignored. So we know he received payment for years for sports, but people scream "racism" because he won't be declared the winner, because complaints did not include the fee? The Olympic committee never told those that reported the cheating at the time about the fee. So they granted professional athlete Jim Thorpe amateur status. They are basically saying, yeah he is a cheat, but because the Olympic Committee ignored complaints and intentionally did not tell the people that they needed to pay money to report a cheat, then he should be the winner?

Besides that, he abandoned his family and was a drunk.
