JOHN GLENN: R.I.P.

Astronaut John Glenn passed at the age of 100.

They say Covid complications.

I say it's quite a feat to live to be 100.

Died in 2016... and would be 99 today... but... sure...  RIP John.

In the movie, "The Right Stuff" John Glenn's wife was portrayed as being 'slow' or having a 'handicap' of sorts. Just wondering to what extent this was true?

As for, John Herschel Glenn Jr., the astronaut,  he was made of the 'right stuff' to become one of America's most hero's in the sixties. And rightly so! That waswhen American pride was at its apex.

As for Glenn's political career that followed, let's just say he orbited 'the dark side of the moon' while American pride lost its gravity.
