What did you have? What do you have now?

What were the typical operation/repair costs?

What other models do you like/dislike?
With all these lawyers with cameras on the street i'm shocked we have so much crime in the world.

There is constitutional law and there is law and order. This challenge to law and order is always the start to loosing our constitutional rights.

Frauditors are a waste of life.

I bought a Legacy, gave it to her, she loved it, but got rear-ended, so we got her a Forester.
In truth, the only associated costs are, oil changes, tires, general maintenance like brakes and alignment.
You can easily expect 300 thousand carefree miles out of it.

I'm not a small car fan, but the Legacy was a kick to drive...

I am window shopping. I just don't know what to get, or when to get it.

Not a good time, dealers are charging more than the sticker price, so you know used are going for a pretty penny as well.

Stopped by a Subaru dealer the other day. They are only charging sticker. But, it seems like I have to pre-order to get what I want (color, etc).

I have concerns on some of those larger vehicles having only a 4 cylinder engine.

I recently had my Camry serviced. While at the dealership i had a conversation with the salesman I had purchased three from. I mentioned they were no cars at the dealership. He said everything they sell is pre sold.

Definitely not a good time to buy new. Imagine, all these manufacturers had to lay people off, so how does that affect quality control etc?

Since when do car manufacturers have quality people working for them? I remember having a vehicle  where the center console armrest was installed poorly, I noticed that when I replaced it because it got damaged over the years.

I already know I will have to order my car. They don't have what I would want in stock.

Subaru keeps contacting us to sell our car. Shocking just how much we could get for a used car.
But we're not selling, the thing is still like new, considering they had to give us a new engine at 100 thousand
miles.
Toy had just retired, so it was like getting a new car. Five years old with about 50.000 miles on it.

I'd like to find a used one and make it a property car to hit the trails, an old Brat would be cool.

It would be either a new small SUV or a new sporty sedan.

Unless you know the exact history of a used vehicle, you don't know what is up with it.

Used is always a gamble unless you know the owner and how they maintained the car.
Subys usually last 300 thousand trouble free miles, so a car with 150.000 on it and well maintained should be at half life, but that goes for most Japanese imports...

Korean, not so much, American? Probably closer to 250.000 life expectancy with the exception of trucks.
I'll never buy another because my diesel 4x4 will outlast me, but that's diesel, so expect 500 thousand without issue.

I love the Subaru, but I don't like sitting below everyone else, but I'd have to say, if I had to buy a car, it would more than likely be another Suby.
