I will say the fact so many challenged my assertions is very promising. He obviously has friends.

If you read enough, you'll see he has a better understanding of our history, Founding principles, political system, and Conservatism, than do 90% of the people in the US.
Though we may not always see eye to eye, I understand his view is that of an outsider looking in, but that doesn't mean we don't appreciate his insight.

No, he's a well respected member of the forum, even when he's wrong.
