Just received my Social Security statement for Christmas...thanks, Obozo!

In advance I'll apologize for my rant here. In a nutshell, Obozo's crew of intellectuals decided that there was no rise in the cost of living index this year, so I, as well as all of the Social Security recipients in our nation will receive a 0% raise in our benefits for 2016. Obozo HATES anyone who actually worked for their living. Meanwhile, he applauds sanctuary cities, funding illegal aliens, and anchor babies and their mothers from cradle to grave, and spending tax dollars on playing the yesman/girlyman with terrorists like Morsi and kissing the hiney of Mexican President Calderon while bashing the governor of one of his own states (AZ), because she wanted some security. It's all about pushing funds toward potential liberal constituents. Azzhole President and staff. Azzhole Republican good old boy club who continues to sit on their hands as well. :cursing:

Obama is the most disgusting of figure heads this country has ever been witness to. What a legacy.
One more liberal President in 2016 will mean the irreversible, eventual and total demise of our democracy. The rise and fall of democracy IS past the "apathy stage" at this moment. If this  momentum continues on its present path, restoration of democracy will require the least desired of actions.

If I remember right, he claimed/blamed it on low gas prices.

If he said it, then it must be true, and I stand completely remiss.

I'm sure the CBO had differing evidence, but Hussein used it as an excuse anyway.

I don't expect to ever see another increase in SS benefits.

SS is going broke and they are doing everything possible to keep from giving any increases.

I think many will lose their SS benefits completely if they have a certain level of personal assets.  It doesn't matter that it is their money!

I wish they would privatize Medicare!!!  I hate having the government control my healthcare!!   :cursing:

No rise is cost of living index, yet ground beef went from averaging $3.29/lb in Dec. 2014 to $4.49 this year.  Housing bubble is rebuilding, driving 3 BR homes from $225K to $285K. Health care costs are up 12%. The only thing NOT through the roof is gasoline.

Meanwhile the number of people (per capita) below the poverty line has never been higher, not even during the Great Depression. Of course, the District of Criminals likes it that way - more people dependent on their "help" programs.

As usual, the feds lie, cheat and steal to support their anti-freedom agenda.

The Obama regime has been exposed for so many "bad" numbers that I don't believe any report that comes from them.

As the economy slowly spirals down the toilet, more and more Americans (and illegals) become more and more dependent on the government for their daily needs. This is exactly what the charlatans in D.C. want. It solidifies their power, over the people and gives our CONgresscritters a green light for socialism support. Importing foreign workers is not helping Americans, it's helping politicians.

Democrats are addicted to votes. Addiction reflects one is unable to think rationally about the reality of a situation. They believe funding literally grows on trees and they continue to borrow. They are incapable of connecting the dots of our future situation with Greece and Puerto Rico.

To be perfectly honest, with the rapid and welcome decrease in OIL PRICES, my SS Check is travelling a little further these days.

So NO INCREASE - NO PROBLEM.

However - Energy Costs are EXCLUDED from the cost of living calculations.

So when they SkyRocket, no increase then, either.

What a freaking, lying system.

You must not be eating or going to the doctors.   When was the last time you paid for a good set of tires.  My last set of 4 was 900 $$$ + tax.

And I'd bet those were just standard street PU tires too.
I just forked over $1500.0 for a set of Toyo all terrain 10 ply at Les Schwab, and there's nothing fancy about them, just the recommended tire for the 3500.
You done good.

Yep just for pulling my 5th wheel on the streets, and they were on sale so I got them.  They will go on sometime around the end of next year.  I could not pass up the sale.

I don't drive much.

Happily every RX I need has gone Generic.

And I pretty much gave up the "concept" of being able to afford nice Red Meat a while ago. (sigh)
