I don't drive much.

Happily every RX I need has gone Generic.

And I pretty much gave up the "concept" of being able to afford nice Red Meat a while ago. (sigh)

Then what's BS then?

QuoteTo be perfectly honest, with the rapid and welcome decrease in OIL PRICES, my SS Check is travelling a little further these days.

So NO INCREASE - NO PROBLEM.

However - Energy Costs are EXCLUDED from the cost of living calculations.

So when they SkyRocket, no increase then, either.

What a freaking, lying system.

Did our troll forget his script again?

How is there no increase in the COLA when the basic necessities of living have in fact gone up.

The cost of housing, food, and medical care have all gone through the roof the past year.

FWIW Veterans didn't get a raise either.

But Congress sure did!

Now tell me, if the costs of living did not go up. As Obozo claims.

Why the hell is Congress getting a raise then?

Oh thaaat's right. They get a raise, unless they introduce and vote to pass a bill, which prevents their raise.

Say what you want, but if Congress should be entitled to such a system to raise their paychecks, don't you think service members and veterans ought too also?

I may be biased, but I sure do.

One of every five Americans you meet has a mental illness of some sort. Many, many, of our veteran's suffer from mental illness like PTSD now also. Help if ya can. :) http://www.projectsemicolon.org/share-your-story.html
And no you won't find my "story" there. They don't allow science fiction. :)
