I thought it was just me that had trouble following some of his points.
But if you really need to feel confused, reply to Supposn. :scared:

I tried following Supposn's posts, but I ended up trying to gouge my eyes out...

Seriously, don't you EVER get tired of arguing with arrogant retards?

Supposn's thread has seventeen freaking pages of this crap -- and it's still going strong.  Some moron posts mountains of pretty much randomly-assembled buzzwords, and people keep talking to him like you're absolutely positive that you are teaching the world's smartest and most receptive six-year-old the remedial fundamentals of how economics work.

Can you point to one thing - and I mean this, I'm not just being facetious here; I would genuinely love to see this - can you point to even the tiniest little tidbit that one of these guys then proceeded to show that he clearly understood, corrected himself and went on to demonstrate that he could coherently implement?

'Cause I don't think that's happened - like, ever.   And I'm pretty sure it never will.

He agreed with me, then called me a lib.  I feel like I'm in the twighlight zone with this thread...

I'm sorry?  Did I confuse taxed's response with someone else's.  Wasn't he the one going on about how he didn't understand followed by snide remarks and insults?  If not my apologies.

Please remember two or three people can post between what you think your posting to.  That is why it is always best to use the quote functions on almost every post.  In the early A.M. you may not have that problem but after about 6 A.M you can run into posting two or three below what you think you were posting to.

Frankly, I don't see how that would help.  LibDave's description of Taxed's comment would apply to pretty much anything anyone here has said about his posts.

He keeps saying that liberals and conservatives alike seem to think he's an idiot.  And the only possible conclusion he can draw from this observation is that there must be no appreciable difference between liberals and conservatives.  Apparently he doesn't understand the concept of a "common denominator."

Off subject but how about this one.

After moving to New York I knew no one and so even though I rarely drink I decided to visit a nearby pub.  It was dank and dingy, carved out of the basement of a tenement building little more than 12 feet wide from side to side.  After a short time I left without seeing any other patrons.

A week or so later as I drove by the bar I noticed a HUGE crowd of at least 1500 people waiting outside this bar.  I was amazed as it seemed impossible such a small establishment could hold anywhere near this number of patrons.  I assumed a famous band was hired to play there but then thought otherwise considering no room for instruments possible.  The crowds persisted for the next two weeks and prevented me from inquiring further.

Two weeks later after the crowds diminished I went into the bar again.  I inquired from the bartender what all the hubbub had been about.  The bartender explained to me he was a 3rd generation owner of the bar.  It had seen better times when he first took over from his father.  Within a few years he was on the verge of bankruptcy and considering closing up shop to find a better career.

As luck would have it, one day a patron came in and asked if he would take a 3rd party check in lieu of payment for his drinks.  At first the bartender was reluctant until he realized they were from the SS Administration.  As business was poor he decided to accept his payment.  The patron laughed as he told the bartender how ironic the situation was.  The patron was receiving the check because he was an alcoholic.  Apparently the SS administration had declared alcoholism a disease.  As such it qualified for SSI disability.

It's hard to think of any societal ill the federal government is not spending money to simultaneously subsidize and cure.

If this ever gets to be a national issue, rest assured that Congress will take steps to stop it -- by spending additional money to establish a government agency whose job it will be to force businesses to police their patrons more carefully.

The SS Admin had also recently been sued by the ACLU for requiring a valid address for anyone receiving SSI benefits.  Apparently this discriminated against the homeless.  So SSI dropped the requirement recipients supply a valid home address, any address would suffice.

A light went off in his head.  Shortly thereafter he hired a cute young blonde girl to go down into the homeless districts looking for potential customers.  The bar would fill out all the paperwork they needed and put down the address where checks could be sent (the bar).  Every month the mailman shows up with 2 duffel bags full of mail and dumps it on the bar while the homeless build up in anxious anticipation.  As the bartender calls out the names they run to the front of the line and step up to the bar to the cheers of the fellow drunks.  They sign over their checks to him and he marks their credit onto his ledger.  He marks each drink into the ledger until their monthly quota is met.  Whereby he cuts them off for the remainder of the month.

I asked him how many checks he received monthly.  He estimated between 2000 and 3000.  He also told me this little nothing of an establishment was now netting almost 2 million in profits per year.  When I asked how long it took his patrons to drink away their checks he told me it depended.  On average about a week or two but some can do it in 3 days.

BTW, I did call the SSI to complain and report the fraud.  They politely informed me they were well aware of the situation and all was according to policy.  The recipients were legitimate and in need of the assistance according to law.

And that's nothing.  I could tell you dozens of equally disturbing things people I have taken in engage in.  If I wrote a book the Dems would be laughed out of Congress.

Wow.  You have anecdotes.  No one else here does in all our years.  Just you.  You are amazing.

I find taxed's sarcasm amusing.  I am assuming taxed implies he in some way associates himself with the tea party.  If he only knew who he was talking to.

Not in the least.  Though the thought of you associating with the tea party I do find funny in light of your weak attempts at attack lacking all manner of intellect.  Then again perhaps depressing to realize your involvement in a cause I support surely detracts from its future prospects.

I'm sorry you have me at a loss.  I don't tend to remember who posted what and only recently joined the forum.  As far as I can remember you haven't made a single coherent argument with intent to make even the most mundane point.  Just senseless sarcasm and emotional drivel leaving the impression you are of liberal decent.
